Nutrition Health Review—the Consumer’s Medical Journal® (NHR) was developed by Frank Ray Rifkin, a former member of United States Army and serviceman in World War II.  Frank Ray founded the Vegetus Foundation as a charitable endeavor dedicated to helping Americans improve their quality of life through education on healthy living. In 1979, shortly after starting the Vegetus Foundation, Frank Ray published the first issue of the NHR, and the magazine has been enjoyed by thousands of Americans ever since.

NHR is published six times yearly and is filled with science-based information on healthy living and preventative medicine for consumers who wish to improve their bodies and minds holistically through proper diet, physical activity, and mental healthcare. Each article is written in an easy to understand and eye-appealing format and is based on the latest research in nutrition and healthy living. Subscriptions are $18 per year.
